Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team. As a Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our organization's mission and goals. You will work closely with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders to cultivate relationships and secure financial support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, public relations, and strategic planning.
Duties:
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to meet annual revenue targets
- Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations
- Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities
- Write compelling grant proposals and manage the grant application process
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create fundraising campaigns and materials
- Utilize fundraising software and databases (e.g., Raiser's Edge) to track donor information and manage campaigns
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events, including donor appreciation events, galas, and auctions
- Provide regular reports on fundraising activities, progress towards goals, and donor engagement
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with donors and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective donor communication
- Proficient in market research techniques to identify potential funding sources
- Excellent computer skills and Experience with fundraising software and databases (e.g., Raiser's Edge) for donor management
- Knowledge of strategic planning principles to develop effective fundraising strategies
- Grant writing experience with the ability to craft compelling proposals
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
