Fundraising Coordinator – Job Description 

The Fundraising Officer is responsible for the coordination of fundraising events and initiatives for the (Club). 

Tasks 

The Fundraising Coordinator should: 

· Develop a fundraising action plan 

· Identify and suggest fundraising opportunities; provide grant writing tools, prepare team budget quarterly and yearly.

· In conjunction with the Treasurer keep records relating to fundraising monies; 

· Provide monthly updates to the committee regarding fundraising duties and events. 

Appointment terms and Time Commitment Required 

The Fundraising Officer is appointed for a term of 12 months

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in an administrative support role
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to deliver superior customer service, excellent writing and phone manner and ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
• BA/BS, or equivalent experience preferred
• Candidates with experience in a fundraising environment and/or fundraising databases (Salesforce) are preferred
