Position Summary
UNM Information Technologies is looking for a Programmer Analyst 2.
Under supervision, the Programmer Analyst will design, develop, and/or implement websites, web applications, and software/system integrations. In addition, they will also work closely with other staff to build and foster a DevSecOps-enabled ecosystem including code versioning, continuous integration and delivery, automated testing, and container and orchestration.
The successful applicant will have good communication skills, expertise in website and web application design developed through experience and formal training, and a clear sense of customer service. A thorough understanding of the values, practices and procedures found in a higher education environment, and a commitment to mentoring and developing technical staff is also desirable.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree;at least 1 year of progressively responsible experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
As demonstratedby supporting documentation (cover letter, resume, portfolio, etc.):
- Knowledge andexperience with Azure DevOps, and Azure OpenAI or similar AI services.
- Knowledge andexperience with rapid development tools such as Microsoft Power Platform,OnBase, and Salesforce.
- Knowledge andexperience with middleware integration platforms such as Boomi.
- Knowledge andexperience with web front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React),back-end development (PHP, Laravel), database design (MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle),web service architecture (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat), and system administration(Linux, Windows).
- Understandingof application integration strategies and techniques, theories, principles, andpractices including experience with various integration mechanisms.
- Functional andtechnical experience with system and data integration/architecture includingdesign and development of ETL, API (REST and SOAP), MDM, B2B EDI, microservice,and workflow automation.
- Experience withDevSecOps including its principles, code versioning, continuous integration,and continuous deployment/delivery.
- Experience withall aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including applicationdesign, configuration, customization, integration, testing and supportincluding, but not limited to, gathering requirements, designing the futurestate solution, the development objects related to their process scope, as wellas supporting testing and post implementation support.
- Ability toobtain results and add value to the organization by being accessible to andsupportive of others, setting clear goals and monitoring goals' progress, andmaking timely and sound decisions and influencing others.
- Strong written andoral communication and presentation skills (able to communicate ideas withsenior personnel, able to create and deliver persuasive web architectures andmodels, able to gain consensus, etc.).
