**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a desire to provide excellent care for pets in our facility. **Duties:** - Assist in the daily care of animals including feeding, watering, and walking - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels and play areas - Monitor animal behavior and report any health concerns to the supervisor - Provide basic grooming services such as bathing and brushing - Assist with administering medications as directed by veterinary staff - Help with animal restraint during medical exams or grooming sessions **Qualifications:** - Previous experience in animal care or related field is preferred - Knowledge of basic pet care, handling, and behavior - Ability to work well in a team environment - Strong communication skills for interacting with pet owners and veterinary staff - Physical ability to lift and move animals of various sizes **Skills:** - Animal care - Kennel - Pet grooming - Dog training - Animal restraint - Veterinary assistant - Dog handling - Pet care - Veterinary technician - Customer service This position offers the opportunity to work closely with animals in a rewarding environment.
