Job Description – Assistant Director
Position Overview: The Assistant Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the educational institution. This position involves overseeing various administrative, operational, and logistical aspects of the school to support its mission and objectives. The Assistant Director works closely with the Campus Director and the Chief Operations Officer to implement policies, manage resources efficiently, and maintain a safe and conducive environment for students, staff, faculty and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support:
· Assist in delivering and upholding administrative policies and procedures.
· Manage documentation, including staff/faculty and student records, and regulatory compliance needs.
· Coordinate meetings, events, and schedules as needed.
2. Facilities Management:
· Supervise maintenance, cleanliness, and security of school facilities.
· Oversee repairs, renovations, and improvements as needed.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Financial Management:
· Assist in budget development and monitoring.
· Process financial transactions, including payroll, purchasing, and invoicing.
· Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
4. Human Resources:
· Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of staff.
· Maintain personnel records.
· Address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution with HR.
5. Student Services:
· Collaborate with academic staff to support student enrollment, scheduling, and attendance.
· Manage student discipline and behavioral issues in accordance with school policies.
6. Data Management and Reporting:
· Collect, analyze, and report data on school operations, performance, and outcomes.
· Assists in collections, barring of students and communications with accounting.
· Maintain accurate records for accountability, accreditation, and compliance purposes.
