We have an imediate opening for a Purchasing Manager.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our team. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that all purchases are made at the best possible price. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management.
Duties:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing efficiency
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and payment terms
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory control team to ensure optimal stock levels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to track orders, manage inventory, and streamline purchasing processes
- Oversee logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field expirence.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and terms
- Proficient in using procurement software systems and tools
- Excellent analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles and inventory control techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders
