D6 is a leading thermoforming packaging company. We are currently looking for a highly experienced Quality Control Director who can manage our operations and ensure the highest level of quality control and assurance. The ideal candidate should have expertise in quality audits, project management, and FDA regulations. This leadership role requires excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
• Oversee the quality assurance team and guide best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage the fabricating process, ensuring products meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Lead the QA/QC team in performing quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP guidelines and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Provide training and support to employees on quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with project management teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in GMP regulations.
• Travel to customers and provide customer solutions.
• Handle customer returns and credits.
• Travel to other manufacturer locations.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of quality audits, quality control, and quality assurance processes
• In-depth understanding of FDA regulations and GMP guidelines
• Experience in fabricating processes and quality inspection techniques.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of quality control.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide the QA/QC team.
