D6 is currently seeking a dedicated Tooling Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing tools and equipment used in our manufacturing processes. Duties include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and resolving tooling issues, and ensuring that all equipment is in optimal working condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Previous experience in tooling maintenance is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is enthusiastic and eager to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on a regular schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair tooling issues
• Document maintenance tasks and keep accurate records.
• Ensure tools are calibrated and functioning properly.
• Work collaboratively with production teams to support manufacturing processes.
• Prep and review tooling to maintain working order, disassemble and reassemble thermoforming tooling on a daily basis.
• Be able to maintain any standard and call out issues once found.
• Work alongside the shop manager to organize the shop and develop procedures.
