The National Sales Trainer will play a pivotal role in planning, development, and delivery of training to our internal sales teams as well as customers for all channels.Principal Functional Responsibilities
  • Partner with Cabinetry subject matter experts, including Product, Sales, Marketing and Operations to design and develop innovative and effective instructional materials that drive revenue.
  • Support new product introductions and product training programs to both internal and all channel external audiences.
  • Develop and execute the build and delivery of new curricula for internal and external customers related to Brand, Products, Selling, 2020 Tips & Tricks, and Design / Trends.
  • Create content, via PowerPoint, Video, Camtasia, etc. for on-demand course offerings for the use of our internal and external customers.
  • Deliver training, in person and virtual, to internal and external customers, using multiple platforms including Microsoft Teams, ZOOM, Camtasia, Video, 2020.
  • Develop and maintain evaluation strategies and administer written and practical tests / surveys for internal and external audiences to assess training programs.
  • Track the effectiveness of delivered trainings and satisfaction of those that take training via survey to continuously improve upon the Learning and Development offering.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of product, channels, brands, and customers, including that of key competitor product lines and competitive new product introductions, securing status as a subject matter expert.
  • Event coordination and management related to dealer and retail customer events.
Essential Qualifications And Skills
  • College degree in business, communication, instructional design, or related field and/or 5 years related experience (sales, marketing and/or corporate training experience).
  • Work experience in the kitchen and bath industry, preferably cabinetry.
  • Ability to conduct trainings via Microsoft Teams, sharing multiple platforms with the audience.
  • Ability to create onDemand content from recordings, using Camtasia.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook), 2020, Camtasia, Lumion, Adobe, Articulate, SalesForce and Cornerstone with an interest and ability to learn new technical software as needed.
  • Exceptional administrative, organizational, communication and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated project management, multi-tasking, analytical thinking, and planning skills with a deadline orientation and focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and with external customers.
  • The passion, energy and drive to thrive in a fast-paced, time driven environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines and interact with SME’s, and project and training staff.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to convert complex content into clear easy-to-understand instructional material.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
  • Knowledge and experience in kitchen and bath design using 2020 design software.
  • Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) through the NKBA.
