Qualifications:

NorthStar Anesthesia is seeking a Summer Law Clerk to join our team.

This role will be hybrid, based out of Washington, D.C. There is flexibilty with the hybrid schedule.

Summary/Objective: The Summer Law Clerk will primarily be responsible for a contract collection and organization project, with other projects possible as time allows.

Essential Functions:

  • Support the Legal Department with its implementation of an enterprise-wide Contract Storage initiative. Includes working with stakeholders across the corporate team to locate documents, reviewing documents to properly identify and categorize them, cataloging missing documents, and developing processes and procedures to support the success of the initiative long-term.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as assigned by members of the Legal Department.
  • Opportunities for other projects may be available, depending on time required to complete the Contract Storage project.
  • Promote NorthStar Anesthesias Core Values.
  • Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Current law student pursuing a J.D.
  • Bachelors Degree

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in Healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity with evidence of problem-solving capabilities.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Self-motivated; ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to discretely handling confidential information
