The HR Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the organization’s compliance with relevant legislation. This role encompasses various tasks, including ensuring compliance with CARF-specific regulations, health and safety legislation, and employment practices. The HR Compliance Specialist will also ensure NFS meets all standards required for external audits and advise departments on how to continuously improve.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 2 years of Human Resource experience
At least 1 year of Compliance experience
Knowledge of CARF standards and policies or related healthcare licensing (DPH, DCYF, etc.) preferred
Excellent planning, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
Superb analytical and decision-making skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Collaborative and supportive mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) with the aptitude to learn new software and systems
Excellent time management skills, ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects
