Independent campaign for US Senate in Nebraska is seeking a Field Organizer. The Field Organizer is responsible for finding volunteers, finding votes, representing the campaign in the community, and creating an atmosphere of energy and positivity. 

Compensation

Negotiable and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines;
• Great verbal communication skills;
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment;
• Ability to work effectively and tactfully with the public;
• Ability to work long and unusual hours (some weekends and nights, especially leading up to the election);
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle;
• Experience with political campaigns, in a paid or volunteer capacity, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct direct voter contact and volunteer outreach
• Represent the campaign at community events
• Support and supervise campaign volunteers
• Develop and maintain a strong and trusting relationship with volunteers and community members
• Represent the campaign to the general public
