The Human Capital Reporting Specialist will work with the Human Capital team and Leadership to evolve our data management and analytics programs and support our payroll process. This role provides an opportunity to help shape a new and growing discipline on the Human Capital team.
Duties & Responsibilities
    • Enhance, develop, and deliver Human Capital reporting to support the strategic decisions making in the business
    • Coordinate and manage requests for custom reports, ad hoc reports, and works with other internal departments to automate the release of Human Capital reports, ensuring accuracy, readability, and appropriateness
    • Assess and implement new people analytics tools as needs arise
    • Participates in the timely and accurate execution of the company's semi-monthly and off-cycle payrolls, ensuring that employees are paid in a uniform and accurate manner.
    • Utilize data mining techniques to track, trend, and interpret multiple data points to conduct consistent and comprehensive analysis; includes identifying variances, resolving issues, and providing key insights into people-related activities such as, recruitment, retention, D&I, engagement, annual performance, and/or other HR related initiatives
    • Drives efficiency in processes by understanding our HRIS system capabilities and working to evolve processes and procedures through automation
    • Oversee partnership with internal Power BI teams to advance people analytics.
    • Handle all compensation and sensitive employee data in a confidential manner
    • Monitor updates and upgrades to the company payroll system.
    • Assists with the completion of Human Capital and payroll audits and testing/monitoring plans based on factors such as degree of risk, complexity, frequency, and previous audit findings. Executes independent compliance and operational controls in accordance with state and federal standards and guidelines for personnel files, I-9s, EEOC data requirements, etc.
    • Identifies and communicates key industry Human Capital insights and trends to incorporate those into the broader Human Capital strategy.
    • Assists with annual implementation and administration of compensation programs and systems including merit, market, and equity analysis and benchmarking, recommendations, and adjustments, short- and long-term incentive compensation (including stock-based compensation programs). Ensures data integrity within data management and reporting, and external filings (SEC).
    • Ensures all cyclical reporting is completed in a timely manner for the organization (such as EEOC, ACA, W2s, etc.)
    • Collaborating with our Human Capital Operations, HR Generalists, Learning and Development, People Experience and Talent Acquisition teams with cross-functional projects and programs
Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree required. MBA is a plus.
    • Human Resources Certification such as PHR or SHRM - CP required. SPHR or SHRM - SCP preferred.
    • 5 years of experience in Human Resources related roles.
    • Experience in analytics with experience in People Reporting preferred.

    • Excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate, effectively, and credibly, both verbally and in writing, that conveys a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

    • An ability to identify opportunities for efficiency and automate where possible
    • A desire to create an inclusive environment and serve as a champion of diversity

$65,000 - $75,000 a year
This position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance. Yearly incentive bonus target 10% of base salary.
