We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled General Laborer to join our Telecommunications Construction team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a dynamic, exciting, and challenging work environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks in the construction, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

As a General Laborer in our Telecommunications Construction team, your duties will include, but are not limited to :

1. Assisting with the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment, including poles, wires, and fiber optic cables.

2. Using various types of equipment and tools to carry out construction tasks.

3. Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and standards.

4. Working collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and to a high standard.

5. Performing routine maintenance on equipment and tools.

6. Pulling wire and OSP fiber construction.

7. Identifying and reporting any potential safety hazards or issues to the supervisor.

8. Assisting with other general labor tasks as required.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following skills, experience and qualifications :

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

2. Proven experience with PPE, construction laborers, pulling wire, OSP Fiber Construction, and pole installation and maintenance.

3. Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

4. A strong understanding of safety regulations and standards in the construction industry.

5. The ability to work well as part of a team and to follow instructions.

6. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.

7. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites.
