JOB POSITION: Medical Billing Assistant in Wasilla

We are a fast paced Medical Billing and Coding company located in Wasilla and we are currently seeking to replace one of our billing assistants who recently moved out of state. Individual must have 1 year office experience. Common sense is a must. Person will need to be extremely detail oriented.

Job Duties will entail but not limited to:

Following all HIPAA regulations.

Communication with patients, clients, and team members. Scanning, filing, attaching EOBS and chart notes to paper claims, insurance verifications, and letters.

Ability to understand all of the insurance rules, regulations, and policies.

All other duties as assigned.

Position is Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. Pay $14-$17 DOE. After 90 day probationary period Employee will receive 8 paid holiday days a year and AFLAC, after 6 months we have a direct care plan with Capstone Medical that provides medical care that we provide for the employee, after 1 year employer contributes $200 a month into an HRA for medical, dental, or vision expenses for employee, after 1 year employee can contribute to 401k plan with employer matching, and after 1 year employee will receive 2 weeks of paid PTO yearly with paid PTO increasing with employee’s length of employment.
