Overview:
KMK Construction, Inc. (KMK), a family-owned, CVE-verified SDVOSB. KMK has provided general contracting, facilities maintenance, and design/build services to federal and municipal agencies since 1996. KMK began with one office and a few employees performing work in southern Maine and New Hampshire. Over the past twenty-plus years it has steadily grown and is now with locations from Maine to Florida. KMK’s mission has remained true throughout its history: provide the highest quality product and complete client satisfaction.
Job Qualifications
· Create and maintain daily logs, production, QC reports and send to government construction representatives. Knowledge of (Navy project management software eCMS) and Procore a plus.
· Directly responsible for all field activities and interfacing with government construction representatives with an emphasis on customer service
· Coordinate and maintain schedules for projects.
· Submit product data, design, shop drawing, sample submittals for government approval.
· Coordinate subcontractors to ensure proper phasing of work to maintain schedule
· Create and log RFI’s for contract clarifications
· Draft monthly invoices for project manager and government approval
· Assist project manager in pricing RFP's and change orders
· Coordinate all on site safety meetings and maintain sign ins
· Maintain control of working and non-working related traffic within the project footprint
· Responsible for project layout and elevation control
· Coordinate subcontractor deliveries to the site and ensure base security requirements are met
· Maintain as built (redline) drawings on site for government review and reference
· Facilitate final government training for applicable building systems and equipment
· Compile closeout documentation and package for final project approval
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office platform.
