is currently seeking Warehouse Quality Control Associates on Day Shift at our facility in Vandalia, OH.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for all tasks related to order picking quality management; including verifying quantities, inspecting for damage, confirming pallet tags are correct, and pallet stability.

Expected to be able to perform all aspects of the job as described below.

SHIFT DETAILS

Day Shift : Monday thru Friday, 7 : 00am 3 : 30pm

STARTING WAGES

Day Shift : $18.00 per hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain accuracy of customer orders in warehouse facilities, including inspection of transfer orders if applicable.
• Understand warehousing practices, policies, and procedures, including inbound, fulfillment and outbound flow of product throughout the facility.
• Meet production, quality, and accuracy levels as established by business unit. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Work extended hours, as required by operational needs.
• Perform quality inspections of customer orders; including - verifying quantities, inspecting for damage, confirming pallet tags are correct, and pallet stability.

Correct any discrepancies on orders and take action to resolve them.

• Maintain a clean workplace to avoid tripping hazards or other accidents. Follow all food safety policies and procedures including performing daily, weekly and monthly cleaning assignments and related activities as directed.
• Promote a safe work environment by following facility and company safety guidelines. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Safely operate and become certified in use of electric pallet jack, walk-rider, and / or other required equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 or more years related warehouse experience, required.
• Experience with a computerized inventory system, required.
• Previous experience with quality management system, preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds, and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

WORKING CONDITIONS

The warehouse is a non-climate-controlled facility. The outside temperature generally reflects the inside temperature with little air circulation.

Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust.

Must be able to wear safety glasses, safety vest and any other personal protective equipment as required for the facility / work area (i.

e., gloves, safety shoes).
