Community Health Development, Inc. is Hiring an Accounting Specialist Near Uvalde, TX
Position Summary:
Performs administrative, payroll, personnel, entry level bookkeeping and accounting work. Assist with physical count of equipment and inventory of supplies. Works independently or in a group setting.
Requirements Required:
- Assists in preparation of TWC, 941 Form, 990 Form and any other fiscal report as necessary.
- Experience in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, purchase orders entry, and vendor account reconciliation.
- Ability to review and verify invoices and payment requests.
- Ability to maintain vendor files and correspondence.
- Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation.
- Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential material.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Office 365.
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
- Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours or change schedule as necessary.
