Chevrolet of Troy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Troy, Ohio. This is a full-time position in a shop that HAS WORK!!. As an individual contributor, the Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs to meet factory standards and ensure customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone with a passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to delivering top-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and communicate findings to service advisors
- Complete all repairs and maintenance according to factory standards and within the allotted time frame
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and computer software to assist with repairs and troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to provide updates on repair progress
- Continuously expand knowledge and skills through training and development opportunities

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician
- Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance techniques
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and computer software used in the auto industry
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
