With a focus on excellence, we provide a wide range of services encompassing environmental and infrastructure. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Technician to join our dynamic team.

The lab technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tests on construction materials, including soils, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt, to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

How You Contribute:

• Conduct standard and advanced lab testing on construction materials such as soils, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt.
• Prepare samples for testing by following standardized procedures and protocols.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment, ensuring all instruments are calibrated and functioning properly.
• Record and analyze test data, generating accurate and comprehensive reports.
• Assist in the development and improvement of testing procedures and techniques.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with relevant safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with field technicians and project managers to ensure timely completion of testing assignments.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry advancements and best practices.

• Associate’s degree or higher in construction materials, civil engineering, geology, or related field. Also accepted is someone in the process of getting an education or current student.
• Previous experience in construction materials testing lab is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining lab testing equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality assurance.
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 50 pounds (possibly 100 pounds in some instances).
• Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations.
