Systems Engineer
Setting: Onsite
Location: Burlingame, CA or Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 11 months
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop devices software features related to Smart Glasses and Wrist devices.
- Maintenance of the stability of the services and implementation tests to ensure quality.
- Triage, debug, analyze, and fix issues QA, DF community, and customers reported.
- Help device bring up, feature onboarding and migration, and AOSP up leveling.
- What We Are Looking For:
- Experience range 5-10 years
- Must have/Primary skills: Embedded Systems, CoreOS, Android Core Frameworks, Linux, and in C/C
- Android/AOSP/CoreOS, Android Core Frameworks, Linux OS focus
- Experience with coding in C/C
- Strong understanding of lower-level OS (core components/core OS)
- Experience with Embedded Systems
- Experience working with microcontrollers.
- Experience with device drivers.
- Microcontrollers/bootloaders
- 3 years’ experience with any of the following: Android internals, AOSP, Zephyr RTOS, or Free RTOS development
- 3 years of experience developing MCU or AOSP consumer electronics systems.
- Experience with system performance tools and debugging hardware.
- Experience with Android frameworks and services.
- Understanding E2E software development flow, able to use various tools effectively to address issues (Plus)
- Understanding of mobile and/or backend development.
Education: Bachelors in engineering
