Overview:
We are seeking a self-motivated professional for a position as an agent in our Life & Health department. The ideal candidate has a positive, "customer first" attitude and ability to multitask.
Duties:
- Communicate with clients to understand their insurance needs and recommend suitable products for their needs (private health insurance, Marketplace, short term policies, Medicare Supplements, life insurance, etc.)
- Analyze clients' current insurance policies and suggest additions or changes
- Day-to-day group and individual benefit management
- Conducting open enrollments for groups and providing HR assistance with enrolling new employees, terminating coverage, making changes, etc.
- Assisting individuals in enrolling in suitable coverages for their needs (private health insurance, Marketplace, short term policies, Medicare Supplements, life insurance, etc.)
- Keep thorough records of all transactions made and forms needed to process.
- Work diligently to maintain retention of clients with superior customer service.
- Utilize HIPAA guidelines when handling sensitive client information
Experience:
- The ideal candidate will possess a current Life & Health license with Texas
- Customer service experience - required
