Overview
The Credentialing Analyst isresponsible forsending initial and reappointment applications for all Mercy credentialed practitioners. Position is alsoresponsible for following up with all practitioners regarding missing applications and expiring licenses, board certifications, and insurance. The individual will providetechnical support to practitionershaving issues with online applications. The position is required to accurately enter and audit allpractitioner data into thecredentialing database to be utilized by multiple departments and Mercy.net. The Analyst isresponsible for data entering and maintaining over 5,000 practitioners within delegation agreements. Analyst must be detailed oriented, ensuring that all data elements are present and correct before moving applications to the next credentialing step. Communicateswith all Mercy Hospital, Clinics, Recruitment, Practice Managers, Managed Care, Medical Staff Professionals,and Provider Enrollment. Query websites and report expirable information including licensing actions. Responsible for escalating software issues to appropriate parties.
Education: Bachelors degree or previous credentialing or data entry experience can be substituted.
Experience: Previous professional office or data entry experience required.
Other: Detailed oriented. Able to easily adapt to change. Self-starter.
Working Conditions: Position requires long hours sitting at a computer. Position may require flexible hours outside of the normal work day.
