Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the nursing staff. Your role will involve providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position requires expertise in various medical settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and ambulatory surgery centers.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide necessary interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Assist with procedures and surgeries in ambulatory surgery centers
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- CT or Medical office experience preferred
- Knowledge of trauma medicine and catheter care
- Proficient in specimen collection processing
- Experience in memory care or nursing home settings
- Familiarity with hospital medicine practices
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
