Responsibilities
  • Lead Counsel: Serve as lead counsel in a variety of high-stakes litigation matters, demonstrating expertise and the ability to effectively handle complex cases.
  • Trial and Arbitration Expertise: Possess a strong background as a 1st or 2nd chair in trial and arbitration proceedings, showcasing your ability to excel in adversarial proceedings and advocate for clients.
  • Client Representation: Directly engage with clients, including high-level executives of the organizations we represent, providing deposition preparation, counseling, and support in navigating the implications of ongoing litigation.
  • Motion Practice: Regularly present and argue dispositive motions, showcasing your proficiency in shaping case outcomes.
  • Trial Preparation: Play an integral role in all aspects of preparing for arbitration, bench, and jury trials, including voir dire, witness preparation, and post-judgment motion practice.
  • Precedent-Setting Cases: Contribute to litigating high-stakes cases
  • Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: Uphold and promote our firm's dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in all aspects of your work and interactions.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • 10 years of substantial experience in litigation.
  • Prior trial experience (Jury trials preferred).
  • Proven track record in 1st or 2nd chair trial and arbitration experience.
  • Exceptional litigation skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the legal profession.
