Caplight is Hiring a Senior Product Manager Near San Francisco, CA
Role DescriptionAs the first Product Manager at Caplight, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our platform. This role will give you autonomy to turn ideas into product and products into businesses. Youʼll spend time on product strategy, product design, product execution, sales and marketing strategy, and partnership development. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to quickly conceive, deliver, and achieve adoption of features as we navigate to strong product-market fit.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Work alongside the Co-Founders and Head of Design to build and maintain a rolling 1-year product vision
- Gather and synthesize client feedback and insights into actionable user stories, then pitching these to the internal team
- Senior Product Manager at Caplight 1
- Develop detailed specs for new products and features
- Partner with engineers and the design team to bring ideas from concept to delivery
- Partner with the business team to find design partners and early adopter customers
- Manage the post-release marketing and adoption of new features
- Own our internal product analytics to ensure we understand product usage and user behavior.
Prior experience in either institutional finance or a marketplace company. At least 5 years of professional experience
At least 2 years of experience as a founder or employee at an early-stage company in a product-centric role
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and drive results in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment.
Demonstrated ability to pitch products and weave a compelling user story
Curious and passionate energy to drive learning and enthusiasm across the team
Kind and empathetic towards team members and customers. Experience working closely with engineers and a designer.
