Zachry Group is Hiring an Audio Visual Technician Near San Antonio, TX
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate audio and video systems, as well as the ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot these systems. The technician will also be responsible for specifying, installing, providing technical support, and maintaining the company's audio/video equipment. The technician will also work with outside contractors to specify, install, and repair audio/video equipment at remote locations.
Responsibilities
- Specify, install, configure, and troubleshoot corporate audio/video and video conferencing systems.
- Provide technical support to users.
- Maintain the company's audio/video and video conferencing equipment as well as document existing and new installations.
- Work with other departments to ensure that audio/visual needs are met.
- Have the ability to train small groups on the proper use of new and existing systems as required.
- Stay up to date on the latest audio and video technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in audio/video technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of experience in audio/video installation and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of audio and video systems.
- Basic computer networking skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
