Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Instructional Assistant to join our team for 167 student instructional days for the 2024-2025 instructional calendar. The ideal candidate will support teachers in implementing educational programs and providing assistance to students in a learning environment with a passion for teaching and education.
Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of lesson plans and activities under the teacher's guidance.
- Support students with special needs in their educational and social development.
- Help maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers on curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
- Assist in classroom management and behavior reinforcement.
Skills:
- Experience working with preschool or childcare settings.
- Familiarity with child-centered educational approaches.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles.
- Ability to support children with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in assisting teachers with classroom activities and student engagement.
