Twin City Staffing is Hiring a Water Jet Operator Near Saint Paul, MN
Join our manufacturing team! Twin City Staffing is seeking a waterjet machine operator in the Fridley area. This machine operator job is offering up to $21 / hour plus great benefits including 401(k) with company match and 48 hours of PTO the first year! Location : Saint Paul, MN Wage : $21 / hr.
Hours : 6 am 2 : 30 pm, Monda - Friday Benefits of the waterjet machine operator :
- 401(k) with 4% company match
- Short and long term disability
- Paid safe / sick leave
- 48 hours PTO first year
- Medical with $2,500 max out of pocket
- HSA with company contribution
- Dental
Tasks of the waterjet machine operator :
- Safely, accurately and efficiently set-up, program and operate a waterjet
- Read and understand part drawings and work orders
- Perform inspection to ensure products are to customer specifications
- Troubleshoot problems
- Able to certify and operate forklifts and cranes
- Perform other operations such as drilling, tapping and deburring
- Complete all paperwork and inspection reports
- Keep work area(s) clean and organized
Requirements of the waterjet machine operator :
- Previous metal fabricating experience
- Shop math skills
- Blueprint reading is a plus!
- Lift, push, and pull 50 lbs.
- Stand and bend the entire shift
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Knowledge and experience with Micrometers and / or Calipers
- Understand and follow written and verbal communication in English
