Pinnacle Design - Commercial & Residential Interiors is Hiring a Procurement Specialist Near Saginaw, MI
Job Summary:
Pinnacle Design, a commercial and residential interior solutions company in Saginaw, is currently seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a full-time, on-site, Procurement Specialist.
Responsibilities: Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Sales and Purchasing: the end-to-end process of acquiring goods and services, in a retail / wholesale dealer environment, very fast pace, from sourcing to purchase and delivery.
- Follow company procedures and processes to carry out pre-purchase activities (sourcing, negotiating), purchase activities (order placement, receiving) and post-purchase activities (inventory-audit).
- Expedite shipments, as required, prioritizing, and supporting project schedule and on time delivery.
- Manage warranty claims related to defective products. Maintain claims log and work closely with vendors to resolve issues for clients.
- Building and maintaining relationships with vendors, ensuring adequate requirements of legal compliance, competitive pricing, and supply options.
- Help with administrative tasks and other assignments as needed.
- Support accounts payable personnel with price and quantity variance issues.
- Other duties assigned by Project Manager and/or General Manager.
Requirements and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in procurement.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage time and organize.
- Experience with procurement software is beneficial but not required.
