SURESTAFF is Hiring a Maintenance Mechanic Near Romeoville, IL
This position will perform repairs and maintain machinery and equipment including but not limited to: engines, motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and production equipment.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temporary employees are offered competitive compensation $23 - $30/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Available shifts include 1st shift.
Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Repair all production equipment as needed.
- Perform general housekeeping duties.
- Update equipment, machinery, and tools as needed.
- Comply with GMP, safety, OSHA, and audit standards.
- 4 years’ of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing/production.
- Able to operate fork truck and scissor lifts
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills.
