Position: Billing Manager

Job Type: Full Time - Civil Service Classified, Administrative

Minimum qualifications:

· Associates degree in accounting, finance, business administration or other related field with three(3) years of job related experience OR

· High school graduate/GED and ten (10) years of accounting/billing office supervision

· Excellent communication skills

· Strong multitasking and time-management skills

Knowledge of:

Principles of business; accounting; bookkeeping; department policies and procedures

Office and records management

Supervisory principles and practices

Computer software such as Word and Excel

Starting Salary: $28.84 to $35 hourly

Examples of Duties:

· Supervises day to day operations of work area, reviews, work flow, ensures cash controls are followed by staff

· Manages employee time entry and leave requests to ensure appropriate coverage.

· Makes hiring, discipline and termination recommendations.

· Ensures work in the customer service/utility billings completed in an efficient and effective manner.
