Accounting Manager
Our client in Central NJ is seeking an Accounting Manager. The role will report onsite 2 days a week. They offer a robust benefits package which includes 21 days PTO, 5% 401k match, RSP employer contribution and inexpensive benefit premiums.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting department to ensure accounting data is delivered timely and accurately
- Oversee accounting staff
- Manage financial reporting process - following IFRS and GAAP guidelines
- Ensure the financial statements and footnotes are completed
- Liaise with third party accountants to ensure proper booking of transactions, reviewing their financial statements, reviewing cash funding request and underlying financial statement information
- Provide technical accounting research and guidance
- Present financial statement data to board and finance committee
- Manage the annual audit process
- Resolve reporting issues that arise from new systems, new IFRS guidance and new company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- 7 years of financial reporting experience
- CPA preferred
