Cloud Server/Services Administrator Location: Portsmouth, NH Type: Full TimeMin. Experience: Mid Level **Job Summary**

The Cloud Server and Services Administrator is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and management of all our Azure and AWS cloud systems including new server and storage deployments, upgrades, availability, security, and performance. Other duties may include system architecture and security planning, troubleshooting and diagnosing system issues as well as managing and optimizing cloud services spend.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

* Monitor system-wide availability, security, and performance on a daily basis

* Manage deployment and decommissioning of cloud instances and storage

* Automate recurring server maintenance processes

* Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance and security tasks

* Create and manage automated Azure and AWS software, services, and security deployment models

* Stay up to date on systems security best practices

* Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues

* Plan and execute Windows systems and SQL server upgrades

* Assist technical support with server issues and development teams with DevOps questions

* Recommend systems enhancements to drive performance, cost reductions, sustainability, and scale

**Qualifications and Skills**

* Hands-on Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon AWS instance deployment experience

* 4 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or Cloud Services Administrator

* 4 years of experience administrating internet-facing applications

* Understanding of Microsoft Outlook/Exchange/Office365 administration and SMTP

* Security management experience

* Ability to write and execute complex SQL Queries and PowerShell scripts a plus
