Job Description

Job Description

Holistic Healing Behavioral Healthcare Health is seeking a full-time BIPOC Certified Recovery Mentor to join our growing team and to assist clients with recovery support. This position will work at Holistic Healing Behavioral Healthcare (HHBH) office in NE Portland. HHBH provides recovery-based peer services. Staff working at a HHBH site will support the whole person health and wellness of individuals served through daily interactions and support, mentoring, group facilitation, skills training, care coordination, health promotion and education, and other supportive services.

The Certified Recovery Mentor will work as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide peer recovery support to individuals with substance abuse and mental health disorders while supporting a Trauma Informed Care perspective. The Recovery Mentor will advocate for the individual and support them to pursue their personal goals and individual wellness journey. As such, the structure and activities promote client driven goals established on the service plan. It is essential that the Recovery Mentor openly identifies as a person who has lived the experience of being in recovery from substances.
