TERRITORY MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview:
The Nimble Territory Manager plays a pivotal role in representing our brands and driving sales within the retail cannabis environment in Oregon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with retail partners, ensuring our products are well-represented and widely available. This role requires a high level of product knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to sales and account management.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, ensuring our products are well-stocked and promoted.
Sales Strategy: Implement sales strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets. Regularly review sales data and collaborate with the executive team to refine strategies.
Customer Engagement: Provide education and support to retail accounts on all products, promotions, and marketing assets. Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Nimble product offerings, including brands, availability, and pricing information.
Field Work: Conduct regular visits to retail locations to present products, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improved sales and visibility. Territories are throughout the state of Oregon and the role can include long days, overnight stays and require a lot of driving in your personal vehicle (with financial support from the company).
Reporting: Keep detailed notes on all accounts and manage a CRM system to maintain touch points and track progress.
Sample Drops: Execute product sample drops and visits to potential retail locations to solicit new business and support existing partners.
Market Feedback: Communicate market feedback and customer information to the executive team, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with OLCC regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales or account management within the cannabis industry, with a strong understanding of the Oregon retail cannabis environment.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in Google and/or Microsoft suites. Familiarity with Leaflink and Metrc systems is a plus.
Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of cannabis products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Travel: Must have a reliable personal vehicle and be willing to travel within the state, including some overnight travel.
Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a proactive and self-motivated approach.
Compliance: Must hold a valid OLCC marijuana worker permit and have a clean driving record.
