What You’ll Do
- Lead the development of ongoing reports, analyses and dashboards to guide important decisions and process improvements
- Work with the Supply Chain teams in areas including network/topology planning and design, capacity planning, inventory placement, transportation planning, delivery experience for improved customer experience and in-stock positions
- Analyze demand and resource requirements against available resources to identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to solve for resource constraints
- Communicate with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from several data sources using SQL and multiple technological platforms
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
- Analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context
- Respond to high priority requests from senior business leaders
- Improve ongoing analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary data sets
- BS/BA in Supply Chain, Information Management, Data Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in forecasting and Supply Chain
- Experience dealing with results and data with a desire to create new processes
- Tableau, Excel (can write advanced macros), and SQL expertise
- Python experience
- Knowledge of data warehousing
- Look at solutions and see opportunities and can lead the way.
- Convey important insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms
- Masters in Analytics, or equivalent advanced academic degree
- Experience working with Snowflake
- Advanced technical skills using Python or Knime
- Data modeling experience in Retail/E-commerce
