We are offering an opportunity for an Application Support Analyst position, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. In this role, your primary function will be to troubleshoot and support complex bank enterprise applications, maintain database management systems, and ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure. This role is a short-term contract position in the banking industry.Responsibilities:• Troubleshoot and support complex bank enterprise applications, which includes application upgrades, vulnerability management, and custom-built applications.• Maintain advanced knowledge of database management systems like SQL Server and SSIS ETL functionality, with the ability to rewrite complex queries and perform database maintenance tasks.• Have a strong grasp of network protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network infrastructure components like routers, switches, firewalls, and security protocols.• Use monitoring and diagnostic tools like SolarWinds for proactive system health monitoring and troubleshooting.• Understand virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, and containerization platforms like Docker, Kubernetes.• Familiarize with cloud computing concepts and platforms like Ms Azure DevOps, and experience in supporting and managing applications in cloud environments.• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.• Manage incidents, including ticket triaging, prioritization, resolution, and escalation in accordance with defined SLAs.• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies in all application support activities, including data handling and security measures.• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
