Description Associate or Independently Licensed Mental Health Therapist AZBBHE License Required Our practice is looking for a caring mental health therapist dedicated to providing quality services to our patients. This role is available to individuals who hold an active AZBBHE associate or independent licensure only. A typical day consists of facilitating consultation calls for potential new clients, facilitating individual therapy, and completing documentation such as SOAP notes and treatment plans for your clients. An ideal applicant has been issued an associate or independent licensure from the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, would like to create their own schedule, and is interested in collaborating with team members for the purpose of networking and learning from each other. We have an office building located in North Phoenix near the Deer Valley/Norterra area. An ideal applicant would be able to see patients in person 1-2 days a week (full or half days.) Responsibilities •Facilitate consultation calls, collect insurance information, and schedule the client for their appointments •Complete progress notes after each session including treatment plans •Provide in-person and virtual individual services to your clients; flexibility in making your own schedule. We offer office space as many days as you need but encourage only 1-3 days in person for a balance •Coordinate with outpatient psychiatry as needed for your patients •Complete a treatment plan within 24 hours to outline the client's goals, objectives, and the therapist's interventions •Participate in weekly supervision, if needed for your licensure status Qualifications •This position requires a master's degree and a license to practice therapy in the state of Arizona as outlined by the AZBBHE and the license must be in good standing to practice •Additional training in EMDR, Somatic, or Brainspotting is a bonus! •1-3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting •Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills. •Interest in learning new modalities •Willingness to support clients by going above and beyond by getting creative with interventions and a desire to see them succeed!
