Description
- Contract position for an Electrical Design Engineer for precision analytical instrumentation.
- Maintain current designs with emphases on innovative product improvements.
- Generate wiring diagrams and BOMs from customer requirements as needed for production.
- Select and evaluate obsolete components.
- Contribute to new designs from concept to production.
- Support R&D and Production staff as needed with troubleshooting and design updates.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineering with test fixture production.
Requirements
- BS Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD and schematic capture software such as OrCAD.
- Experience with ERP/CO processes for maintaining BOMs and ECOs.
- Experience creating wiring diagrams and BOMs for industrial equipment.
- Experience with fluid handling devices or chemical analysis equipment is a plus.
