Job Summary:
The PRN Infusion Nurse at BrightStar Care of San Luis Obispo is responsible for providing infusion therapy services to patients in the Paso Robles, California area. This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical industry. As a PRN (as needed) employee, the Infusion Nurse will have a flexible schedule and will work on an as-needed basis.

Compensation & Benefits:
The PRN Infusion Nurse will receive a competitive hourly wage of $44 to $48 per hour, paid weekly. 

Responsibilities:
• Administer infusion therapy treatments and medications in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Monitor patient response to therapy and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition to the physician
• Educate patients and their families on the safe and proper administration of medications at home
• Monitor and order supplies as needed for infusion therapy services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
• Adhere to all state, federal, and company guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
• Valid and unrestricted nursing license in the state of California
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in infusion therapy
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor
• Must pass a thorough background check and drug screening
