Job Summary
We are looking for a world-class engineering leader to manage a team of talented Machine Learning engineers to deliver cutting edge LLM, speech, and multimodal technologies to production. One must thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and drive velocity. Leveraging cutting-edge techniques, you will play a vital role in our overall success in deploying state of the art AI capabilities all around the globe.
Responsibilities

• Deliver cutting edge LLM, Speech and multimodal technologies to production while partnering with multiple stakeholders across product, compiler, platform and ML Research teams
• Build and maintain well understood training and inference LLM methods for productization
• Build and maintain application code used to run evaluations on various benchmarks
• Improve developer productivity by driving process improvements via automation or other techniques
• Build and maintain data processing utilities for LLM training

Skills & Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in software engineering
• 3 years in managing software engineering teams
• Have experience with code review and helping unblock engineers by diving into technical details
• Experience with PyTorch
• Hands on experience with LLMs, Multimodal, and NLP applications
• B.S, M.S. or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
• People management experience: Coaching, performance evaluation, mentorship, career development
• Project management skills: Prioritization, communicating across team/org boundaries

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a startup environment

Annual Salary Range and Level
The base salary for this position ranges from $190,000/year up to $215,000/year. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
