Job Summary:
The Personal Lines Account Manager will be responsible for their own assigned split of clients and will be assisted by a trained service support staff handling billing, claims and document processing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing personalized solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and policy-related matters.
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of personal accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and coverage adequacy.
- Collaborate with underwriters to address client needs and negotiate favorable terms.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and retention.
- Generate new business and expand existing accounts.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for clients to recommend appropriate coverage.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulations impacting clients' insurance needs.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, policy details, and transactions.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of personal insurance products and coverages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Relevant Producer/Agent insurance licenses and designations (e.g., CIC, CPCU) are a plus.
- Salary range of $45,000-$55,000 DOE
