The Financial Reporting Manager will prepare financial reports for the company. They will ensure our organization stays in compliance with evolving accounting guidance. They will also support the company with M&A financial activities and manage communication with external financial auditors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare financial reports to meet compliance obligations
- Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance, provide US GAAP interpretation and prepare technical memos
- Support M&A activity including due diligence and preparation of purchase accounting
- Explain variances to budget and report significant issues to management
- Manage communications with external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company treatment
- Able to assist others with responsibilities
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance
- Minimum y years experience at both public and private companies is desirable
- Self-starter, needing little or no supervision
- Advanced Microsoft Excel abilities
- Experience in a regulated products or services business, operating within a multi-site, distributed model
- Adaptability to an evolving organizational structure
- CPA preferred
- Experience in NetSuite preferred
