Empire Workforce Solutions is Hiring a SIT-DOWN FORKLIFT OPERATOR Near Ontario, CA
YOU WILL WORK FULL TIME AND EARN $18.00-$18.00Schedule:1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM with possibility of working overtime.
2nd Shift Monday-Friday 12:00PM-8:30PM with possibility of working overtime.
Job Description:The Material Handler is responsible for performing material handling functions to support all internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience driving Sit-down Forklift (Propane)
- Loads and unloads trucks, verifies load lists, and moves materials and items to storage, production, service, office, or other designated areas.
- Responsible for loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
- Performing cycle counts and inventory management.
- Stack / load pallets and transport material by operating various types of material handling equipment (e.g., forklift)
- Inspecting in-bound/out-bound material for damage and proper documentation.
- Notifies manager or coworkers of shortages, discrepancies, or anticipated needs.
- Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering materials and supplies
- Performs all assigned work effectively and on schedule and accurately follows instructions.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the propane sit-down forklift.
- Must Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to work in an outdoor work environment.
- Must be prepared to work with packaged/non-packaged expired food products.
