Team Facilities LLC is expanding our business and is looking to hire a full time Facilities Maintenance Building Engineer for work in the Muskegon Michigan and surrounding areas of Holland and Zeeland. This is a part-time position, at least to start - about 20-25 hours a week. You'll be working directly with clients to facilitate their on-site maintenance and preventative maintenance needs, so you can arrange your schedule accordingly. You'll be working from your home office to communicate with clients, while most of your hours will be on-site doing the repairs and maintenance. We will provide a company vehicle for you to drive wthin a couple of weeks, but to start, you'll be asked to use your own vehicle with mileage re-imbursement. This is a hands-on and dual role - you'll be managing clients work-orders and doing the maintenance work as well.

If you:

  • are not afraid to make decisions
  • can hit the ground running
  • have a high school diploma and at least 5 - 10 years of work experience in building maintenance (Certificate or License preferred)
  • have experience in troubleshooting and completing minor electrical maintenance repairs including changing lamps, ballasts, switches, and receptacles (License Preferred)
  • have experience in troubleshooting and completing minor plumbing maintenance repairs including unplugging drains and toilets, faucet repair/replacement, small valve repair/replacement
  • have experience in completing general maintenance requests including wall repair and painting, hanging pictures/shelving, furniture repair, door hardware repair/replacement, window repairs, ceiling tile replacements, and other minor repairs
  • are able to clean up after a repair and leave the area better than you found it
  • have your own tools for completing maintenance work
  • are able to use web based software and mobile devices for communications and receiving work requests including mobile smartphone, tablet, or laptop portable computer
  • can engage in critical thinking and complex problem solving
  • can track hours worked at each client location on a daily basis
  • have excellent organizational skills
  • have excellent customer service skills
  • have excellent verbal communication skills on the phone as well as in person
  • have excellent written communication skills to compose professional emails & documents to clients, vendors, and Team Members
  • can stay positive and focused when receiving problem requests from frustrated clients
  • have experience or can quickly learn, with our training, to work with web based software supporting facilities management and work requests from clients
  • have a clean driving record and are willing to travel to client locations in Michigan, mainly the Muskegon area

Team Facilities will provide:
