The Dishwasher at Montage Creek and General Utility position maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards for dinnerware, glassware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position ensures work areas are maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary workspace. Complies with federal, state, and local standards for community operation. Incorporates Generations Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others. 

SCOPE OF JOB TASKS:

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machine. 
• Sort and stack clean dishes. 
• Carry clean dishes to the cook's line and other proper storage areas. 
• Rewash soiled dishes before delivering. 
• Wash pots, pans, and trays with the trained methods. 
• Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster. 
• Set up or break down the dishwashing area. 
• Clean and roll/unroll mats.
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
• Sweep/mop floors.
• Assemble/disassemble dish machine.
• Sweep up trash around the garbage dumpster.
• Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
• Safely operates dishwasher and checks items for cleanliness; loads appropriate soap levels and time cycles
• Notify the manager any time the dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Education:

• A high school diploma or GED is desired

Work Experience:

• No previous experience is required

Qualifications:

• Current Food Handler’s Permit
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
