We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Nursing DON, RN

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the organization

- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication

- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations

- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements

- Manage budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and productivity

Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably as a Director of Nursing or similar position

- Strong knowledge of acute care systems and processes

- Experience working with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment

- Familiarity with assisted living, Medicare, and hospice care regulations and requirements

- Proficient in documentation review and medical terminology

- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Note: Anatomy knowledge is a plus but not required for this position.
