CyberCoders is Hiring a Fire Sprinkler Designer Near Minneapolis, MN
- Individuals that complete the questionnaire will be prioritized in the review process
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope and layout of fire protection systems
- Perform calculations for fire protection systems to ensure appropriate design and sizing
- Prepare shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and other design documentation
- Coordinate with architects, owners, and fire protection sub-contractors
- Research, compile, and analyze data related to fire protection design and engineering
- Attend client meetings and respond to client inquiries
- Ensure that all design and engineering work is completed according to codes and regulations
- Keep up with current fire protection technologies and trends in order to provide the most effective solutions
- Communicate with other team members and management on design and engineering tasks
- 3 years in fire protection design and sprinkler system experience
- Bachelor's degree desired, not required
- NICET certification(s) ideal for this candidate
- Strong understanding of fire protection codes and standards
- Be able to report in office in either St. Louis Missouri, Minneapolis Minnesota, or Omaha, Nebraska
