Alianabl, LLC is Hiring a National Sales Manager (NSM) Near Milford, CT

Summary/Objective: The National Sales Manager (NSM) at Alinabal is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with the high-value customers. The NSM will play a critical role in building and nurturing relationships with customers. NSM will ensure customer satisfaction and be able to identify new opportunities and offer new strategies to increase sales. The NSM will coordinate the appropriate resources in engineering, customer experience, sales and operations to meet the customers’ needs and expectations. Ultimately a NSM will increase penetration into accounts, shorten sales cycle times and increase sales in both number of orders and achieved margin.

Reports to: Vice President of Sales and Business Development

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

1. Work with VP of Sales to define strategy for current accounts and mine new prospects to increase organic business growth.

2. Create targets of opportunity for individual regional sales executives (RSE) for distribution and follow-up using known customer information and prospecting by industry.

3. Manage sales process deemed strategic to Alinabal. (account plans, ROI, cost saving, CVB)

4. Working with the RSE’s, the NSM will suggest solutions and innovative strategies to meet the key/strategic client needs and maximize the business from strategic clients.

5. Assist in training and knowledge share with the sales team as needed.

6. Act as a liaison between strategic customers, key accounts, and internal teams.

7. Identify and approach new strategic customers within given business or geographic areas.

8. Communicate with major clients regularly, nurture relationships and be responsive.

9. Handle any internal or external opportunities or issues in a timely and effective manner.

10. Attend all appropriate trade shows, customer meetings and company presentations.

11. Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare monthly, quarterly/annual reports and forecasts.

12. Be a resident expert for the Alinabal business, be competent in all Alinabal business and identify where gaps exist in knowledge. Propose training plans to get competency.

13. Manage expenses in ways that meet standards and submission time periods as set.

14. Present reviews to management as required either annually or semi-annually.

15. Understand the most important aspects of any sales role is to create opportunity & progress opportunity to a productive end for the customer and a profitable end for the business.

Travel Requirement: 50% or as needed for the position to support sales efforts

  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM, Teams
  • Excellent communication skills both virtually and in-person
  • Excellent organizational and team leadership abilities
  • Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to think on your feet a must
  • Knowledge of factory production and engineered solutions a plus
  • Success in managing long sales cycles with long-term contract rollouts over multiple years

Experience/Education Required: Proven experience in outside sales with strong “hunting” emphasis. 5 years of technical sales with BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field

Supervisory Responsibility: There will be direct reports to this position and also will need to work with various team members throughout the organization

Work Environment: This job operates from Milford, CT and will travel to customer locations as needed

While performing the duties of this position, the employee frequently is required to stand, sit, reach, climb, balance, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move heavy product. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Early mornings, late nights, weekends, and overnights are required.
